Chloe Dixon | Ammonite Necklace
The ammonite symbolises personal growth and transformation for me, everything this journey has represented.
Its beautiful spiral is a reminder that we are always evolving, growing and moving forward, even through some of life’s most difficult chapters.
This necklace feels even more meaningful knowing that 25% of every sale will be donated to Blood Cancer UK. They were one of the first charities I discovered after being diagnosed with leukaemia in 2018, and they continue to fund vital research, campaign for better treatments and provide trusted information and support to people affected by blood cancer.

The necklace
The ammonite’s spiral form gives this necklace texture and interest without relying on sparkle or embellishment.
Handcrafted in sterling silver to echo the shape of a natural fossil, it has an organic quality that works particularly well with Nellou’s gemstone jewellery. The detailed surface catches the light differently from a smooth pendant, making it an easy way to add character to a simple neckline.
Finished with an eco sterling silver chain, with matching Ammonite Earrings available.
Your jewellery arrives in a Nellou jewellery box and soft pouch, ready to gift or keep. Add luxury gift wrapping for £5, including hand wrapping and a Nellou gift bag.
Standard UK delivery is £3.95, with free delivery on orders over £75. Next Day UK delivery is available at checkout. International delivery is calculated at checkout. More info
We want your jewellery to stay in great condition so you can enjoy it for years to come. With some simple steps you can help prolong the life of your pieces. Remove your jewellery daily, put it on as the last step when getting ready and the first thing you take off at the end of the day. Avoid spraying with perfume and contact with creams and lotions and do not wear in water. When not being worn jewellery can be prone to tarnishing if kept in an open atmosphere, so if you are not likely to wear for sometime, the best way to store is in a sealed bag. But if wearing regularly keep stored in our jewellery pouch or box.Read More

LOUISE (NELLOU FOUNDER)
Our connection to Blood Cancer
The stories behind this edit are all different, but we’re all connected by blood cancer in some way. Each story is personal, and each chosen piece reflects something different about the person behind it.
A diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma in my early 30s was definitely not in my life plan, nor was the impact of treatment and the long recovery after transplant. Since then, Blood Cancer UK has remained an important part of my life through fundraising, campaigning and raising awareness.
Nellou came years later, but that experience has inevitably become part of the brand’s story too. Jewellery can feel personal for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes a piece simply speaks to you, and that idea sits at the heart of this edit.
To mark Blood Cancer Awareness Month this September, we invited four people with their own personal connection to blood cancer to choose the Nellou piece they were most naturally drawn to, and to share a little of their story and what made that particular design stand out to them.
Throughout September, we’ll donate 25% of every sale of their chosen designs to Blood Cancer UK, helping turn each purchase from the edit into support for the charity and the work it does for people affected by blood cancer.
