Georgie Swallow | Carnelian T-Bar Necklace
Georgie is wearing the Carnelian T Bar in 18ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver.
The Necklace
There’s something especially good about carnelian in this shape. The polished T-bar turns its natural orange-red colour into a strong, simple focal point, while the stone itself brings the variation - from amber through rust to deeper burnt tones.
It’s the kind of necklace that can change the feel of a plain outfit very quickly. Against a white shirt, black knit or denim, the colour looks rich and intentional rather than decorative.
Available in sterling silver or 18ct gold-plated sterling silver, with each natural carnelian showing its own variation in tone.

We want your jewellery to stay in great condition so you can enjoy it for years to come. With some simple steps you can help prolong the life of your pieces. Remove your jewellery daily, put it on as the last step when getting ready and the first thing you take off at the end of the day. Avoid spraying with perfume and contact with creams and lotions and do not wear in water. When not being worn jewellery can be prone to tarnishing if kept in an open atmosphere, so if you are not likely to wear for sometime, the best way to store is in a sealed bag. But if wearing regularly keep stored in our jewellery pouch or box.Read More

LOUISE (NELLOU FOUNDER)
Our connection to Blood Cancer
The stories behind this edit are all different, but we’re all connected by blood cancer in some way. Each story is personal, and each chosen piece reflects something different about the person behind it.
A diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma in my early 30s was definitely not in my life plan, nor was the impact of treatment and the long recovery after transplant. Since then, Blood Cancer UK has remained an important part of my life through fundraising, campaigning and raising awareness.
Nellou came years later, but that experience has inevitably become part of the brand’s story too. Jewellery can feel personal for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes a piece simply speaks to you, and that idea sits at the heart of this edit.
To mark Blood Cancer Awareness Month this September, we invited four people with their own personal connection to blood cancer to choose the Nellou piece they were most naturally drawn to, and to share a little of their story and what made that particular design stand out to them.
Throughout September, we’ll donate 25% of every sale of their chosen designs to Blood Cancer UK, helping turn each purchase from the edit into support for the charity and the work it does for people affected by blood cancer.
